Poems from the Heart
------------------------------- Caught up in our spiral dance, we funnel ever smaller, until only the tiniest of what we are can pass through. That irreducible something is the DNA of everything. ******* At the root of stillness is motion without form. This radiant churning crackles in the silence as it issues forth. ******* I believe in the shore that walls the endless sea. ******* Prayer: In the golden sunlight of dawn, may the morning dew soften our hearts, and sprout love into our life's soil. ******* Cutting Set in water to no avail. Placed in soil yet so frail. Give it love, it will grow for you. Share your love and you grow too. ******* 2/8/78 Those who know don't speak, and those who speak don't know. Not speaking is not truth. Speaking of truth isn't either. What better to speak of? Truth can't be spoken, but these words are true. ******* The path has a living purpose; no one gets lost. ******* No Boundary 1982 Eye to eye, inner being to being, bowing, neither moved. Words and witness unnecessary-- consciousness conscious of itself. ******* When Were We Not? 1982 Simply satisfying humble nature, powerfully exquiste, sustaining all, gracefully offers a beatific body, freely offering all a home. ******* What planet would you go to to be closer to God? ******* |
Observations
-------------------------------- The Sound of One Flake Falling December 26, 2002 Who would have thought all the worlds could be put down on paper? All described and calculated, given enough time. What do we do once we've understood everything? Documented everything? A snowstorm blows onto this page. leaving a paper thin covering that melts into these words. The universe begins and ends with the invisible. To comprehend one snowflake, would be the yield of a lifetime. Everything we need to know, could be hidden under one word. ******* December 28, 2002 In the drawing of a heart, we mirror a question mark. And therein begins the quandary. ******* If we are living in an illusion, why are we so impressed when a magician makes a rabbit disappear? ******* Early December 28, 2002 Even a stupid bug knows a candle flame is not the rising sun, a light in the window isn't daybreak. Yet it clearly stands to reason, that every single inch of sunrise soley depends upon our... anticipation. ******* You are Who You Eat There's a snake that consumes its tail and gets wheels turning: a perpetual motion machine. Meaningless generations of meaningless information, produces leaders who are just as lost. as those who follow; our summa cum lost. This is why the system doesn't change; it feeds itself. ******* Rise December 20, 2002 Reeling treetops eagerly catch the first of the sun's attention. They stretch their necks for a tiny glimpse of who's coming over the horizon. Waving and smiling like that, draws him even closer. ******* |
